My Living Room

While talking in real to Marty today, she suggested I post my home and have it on my sidebar. So I am going to do a room each post and then it will stay up on the side - at least that is the plan. For you that have already seen my rooms, please bear with me!

I see Bentley Boy snuck in!! He is sooo spoiled!

One of the things we talked about was that living in AZ in homes with lots of windows and no basement, there isn't much room for changing of furniture. Aside from different vignettes, my room have to stay the same!

My style is growing to be Grandma Ceekay style. I keep what I like whether it "fits" the style of the room. I try to keep colors co-ordinated as much as possible.

We love our home just the way it is. Oh there are always "if we had extra money we would"...and maybe those days will come....but we are happy with it now too!

Please excuse me now...I have to make the next room picture perfect, or at least close to it!!

CeeKay, that's a good idea but you can also do a "Page" at the top of the blog just under your logo/banner, sweets. I did mine that way and like it up there. I'm doing my office and studio also but that'll take a bit more time. Hah. ;-)

Hi Ceekay! Oh, I love seeing your beautiful home and this is a great idea! I've done this too with some of my rooms! You know, that's what makes a home a home - decorating it for 'you'!
Now that little Bentley can sneek into all the photos - he's adorable!
Be a sweetie,
Shelia ;)

Your living room is lovely, Ceekay. I have the same problem with lots of windows and not a lot of variations on moving the furniture, so I change out pictures and vignettes as much as I can. I like the idea of showcasing each room on your sidebar...can't wait to see more.

Hi CeeKay sweetie...
Thank you for stopping by. I so appreciate your prayers and your friendship is worth a million to me.

I see from the pictures you have moved furniture around since I was there last. I love the new look. It is beautiful. CeeKay sure does shine through in your home. It is all you sweetie. Beautiful just like you.

I am slow getting back on my feet. I make it up and down the hall at least 5 times a day now. Not a lot but a start. Everything just exhausts me, somedays just to breathe is exhausting. I take breathing treatments every 1-2 hours and a ton of meds. Yesterday the hospital bill came. $35,674.21 for 8 days of care in the hospital. Can you imagine that? All I can say is thank God for my insurance.

Take care of yourself sweetie. I remember you in prayer every night and pray that things are still going well for you. I will stay in touch.

I love you girlfriend. Many hugs and so much love...Sherry

Hi Ceekay,
I love peeking inside your house and your livingroom windows!
What caught my eye is the round mirror juxtaposed with the round table and rug.
I love the trunk and the opera glasses sitting on top. Your entryway looks so lovely. I like your style very much.

Can't wait to see the next room.

hugs

Hi Ceekay, Loved seeing your home-it is so welcoming and warm. Loved Bentley too-is he a poodle? Our next pup will be at least part poodle because of shedding. I love that you are always so encouraging and sharing your ideas with us.
Hugs, Noreen

Ceekay, this room is lovely & your rug under that beautiful coffee table is divine! I'm intrigued by the unusual border on it.
I love all the tile floors. We had lots of it in FL but now I only have it in my bathrooms. Too cold in OH for it throughout the house but I sure to like the look!

Your "Grandma Ceekay" is just perfect!!

You're brave to do this. Your rooms look like they could be in a magazine. I love how you've tied all of the wrought iron designs into the wall decor. Love the trunk, too.

I have a trunk that is almost identical to yours-- you have inspired me to pull it out and use it again:)

Hi Ceekay. I love your room just the way it is, too...that Grandma Ceekay style appeals to ME!! I have a Nana Dana Style that works here...it's all about surrounding yourself with what works for you and what appeals to you!

Thank you for your sweet comments on my post today. L, dana

Ceekay your living room is lovely! That Bentley boy is the best accessory of all! *winks* I have floor envy BIG time! I suppose wall to wall carpeting is good for the frozen northwest where I live, but I'd love me some tile floors like yours! Vanna
