More Sweet Tweets!

We have lived at our home almost four years but this year is the first for seeing so many baby birds. This pigeon is gone now, but it hatched while I was gone.....

This one is just sitting on my table. They are so sweet to look at, but I must admit, they are leaving a cleaning job for me out front!! I think they are just about done hanging around, but it sure was a delight seeing them so close!
We had a wonderful Sunday visiting with my son and a friend of his. Had lunch at Mimi's and then came home to love on Bentley Boy. Hope your Sunday was good also!!

Oh, yes. It's such fun to have a close up perspective of a bird in its nest, but also agree that it can be a messy situation. :-)
Great photos!

HI Ceekay! I agree the doves are so beautiful but they can poo a mess! :)
We have the little morning doves and they're cooing every morning. I don't think I've seen a baby before.
Glad you had a wonderful weekend.
You know me too well - Roosters! :)
Be a sweetie,

That is so unique to have the nest, eggs then the bird right outside you office window.
It looks like a dove.
We have six eggs in one of the bushes we just transplanted.
We'll see if they hatch.

Hi Ceekay,
How fun to enjoy the pigeon for awhile up close and on your porch. I imagine there would be a bit of cleanup to do after her stay, but so worth it.
You certainly took some great pics.

Thanks for stopping by. Hope you have a great week.
Hugs, Celestina Marie

Aww, aren't they cute? One year our neighbors had pigeons next in a bucket in there backyard that they used for the pool. No pool bucket that year! We have robins that insist on nesting around the north side of our house, either in a bush, or any other open spot they find...this year between the roof of our house and the roof of our three season room. No matter...every year they lose at least one baby to Petey the Dawg. Drives us nuts!

Hi cheekay, thanks for checking out my old house. We have alot of memories there, but we are glad to be where we are now. It was a cute house though...what sweet little birds. We had some babies the other day, I looked in the birdhouse today and they are gone. I guess they grew up and flew away! Maybe I'll have more soon. I hope you are doing well! Kristen

A cute baby Mourning Dove. I think they're called that because of the mournful song they sing.
The parents will nest just about anywhere they can throw a few sticks together.
