A Fun Day for Us!

I was so happy to be able to go with my husband and friend Candy and her hubby to an auction today.
There is an old Filming set that was auctioning off props....I couldn't go yesterday, and didn't think I would make it, but I felt so good today and my husband said, "Let's go!"

I just enjoy sseeing all the stuff!

One of the buildings there....

I so wanted this coffee grinder....but I just couldn't afford it!

Yes, I know, another one...but same outcome...

This was an interesting display case. I loved it, but no room for it...it was a good size.

Never saw one of these before...very interesting.

Oh Lord, I want one of these soooo bad.

I wanted this too!

Hold me back!

See the cotton display case. That went for a LOT of money!

Here is the auctioneer....he was great, and it was HOT!

I wonder what our HOA would do about this???

I am calling for a loan!

Here is a shot down the street....
So what did I buy??? Not much. I really do not have room for much....but I did get some plain crocks and.....

This darling thing from the 19th century England. $7.50!! Oh Karen, it is going up on that shelf!

What a wonderful day....to feel well and alive and have fun too! As hubby would say, can't beat that with a stick!!!

That looks like great fun Ceekay! Oooh, I like what you got, neat piece! Did you say it was hot or the auctioneer was hot? hehe. My Mom had one of those old butter churns and she made us kids churn when we watched Sat. morning cartoons. Oooh, my arm would get sore. Have a good week,
Cindy

What a fun day! I'm so glad you bought that "inhaler" as I was thinking I would have bought it myself! So glad you are feeling good Ceekay! Hang in there my dear!

I have to agree with Melissa- you are looking great friend!!

I didn't seed tomato plants so am hoping I can find an heirloom one like you did this year!!

I did buy some strawberry plants- my they have the most huge blossoms on them! I hope they will do well here-this climate is so very different then where I am from!

Is it getting hot in Arizona yet? Bills folks are planning on heading to NM the end of May to try and escape the heat there this year.

Ceekay~ It was nice to see your smile, enjoying the aution in that warm sunshine.
Oooh, I'd like to have the lil old paddle mixing jar. Looks like you found an antique treasure to take home.
It'll look nice with those lovely spring cloche vignettes you've got displayed. I remember when I could make a phone call from a phone booth for a dime!

Sweet wishes,
Sara
