Tea Party and Tabletop Tuesday

I think Blogging is so funny sometimes. There are times when I think, what can I show or talk about that would be interesting...then there are other times, when I feel like I can never get caught up with everything. I am in the second mode right now. So first I want to show you what my dear friend Kathy sent me for my birthday.

These bunnies are so stinkin cute. They are black with little specks of gold and brown...I am telling you, they are too cute. She also sent me another Easter item, but that will come later...

Today is Teacup Tuesday at Rhondi's. She is hosting Tea Party Tuesdays. So today I thought I would show a favorite teacup of mine, and that is hard to choose. I really do love this cup as it is my birth month cup. Also I love the violets on it. I will be having a quiet teaparty for me this morning before the busy day takes off!

The February is inside the upper edge....

So pretty!!

And it is also Tabletop Tuesday at Marty's.

This half moon table is in my Dining area. I put all silver on it for right now until I get the Bunnies out for Easter.

This precious spoon is from Sherry. She made each of one at our lunch last Friday. Again, toooo cute!

This is my silver service. I know a lot of you have a very similar set....it was a gift for our 25th wedding anniversary...ah hem, almost 12 years ago!
I think it is going to be a busy Tuesday...Doctor's appts...and 2 blog parties. I better get started!

Good Evening Sweet CeeKay...
I so adore this teacup and saucer. February is my Moma's month also, so I too love purple and violets. So pretty sweetie. So pretty and dainty.

No I love your Tabletop Tuesday. I really do not have a table that I can display like yours. I do have an antique one that both sides fold down, but it is going to take me awhile to figure out how best to decorate it. I will work on that for next week. I am slowly coming around.

I adore your tea set. It is so beautiful, and how special to have received it for an anniversary gift. That always makes it so much more special.

I am so thrilled that you loved your spoon enough to allow it to grace your table sweetie. It does look elegant there. I so wanted to give you all something that you would look at and think of me. I am working on some more as we speak. I will be posting those soon, so keep watching.

I will be praying for you this evening. I want tomorrow to go as easy as it possibly can. I know how you do not like needles, and most of all do not like tests. I will be praying for the angels to come and comfort you and block away any pain that trys to break through to you. Please keep me posted sweetie.

Rest easy tonight sweet friend, everything will be okay. I am sending so much love to you sweetie. Hugs and much love...Sherry

Ceekay, the bunnies are adorable, but it is that sweet teacup that steals the show. I love the violets! My most recent post is a book review on the last of the Josephine trilogy. Did you know that Josephine loved the sight and scent of violets? After her death, it is said that Napoleon picked violets from her gardens and wore them in a locket. Sweet thought.
Happy Birthday month, sweet friend!

Ceekay, your bunnies are so precious. What a wonderful gift. I love your teacup too. You do have a lot of especially pretty ones. I really like your silver vignette. It is just so gorgeous. You have some really pretty items. Now you still really need to show above your kitchen cabinets and the bridge in the family room. Way too cute. Hugs, Marty

I think I'm suffering from Blogger's Block. I can't think of much to write about and my mind won't even think about re-arranging, creating vignettes, or tablescaping. I hope this phase soon passes. I think it will with the approach of spring.

That sweet little violet teacup and saucer is so pretty. I've always loved those month teacups.

I'm so glad you participated tea party Tuesday. I had no idea about it until I read it on your blog. I put a quick post together with archived photos just so I could participate in it too! I always enjoy visiting with you.

I think it is so fun because now I can look at your posts and say "I know where that is!" :) Did you take pictures of the place settings we didn't use?
Good luck today - I will be thinking about you all day until I read about how it went when I get home from work. Work is going to be a zoo this week.
Love and hugs! Me.

Lovely post! Last summer I gave each of my three sister a Royal Albert Flower of the Month cup for her birth month. The youngest just had her birthday last week so she has the Feb. teacup. The table setting we used for her birthday supper was my Tablescape Thursday post:
