Tablescape Thursday and Flower Power

Last week when my blogging friend Karen came over I had the table all ready for dinner. But, things didn't go as planned and we decided to go out to Cracker Barrel. But I wanted to show you my black and yellow tablescape.

Black chargers, yellow napkins - had for years
Polka dot plates - Frys/Krogers this year
Polka Dot Tea Lites - Dollar Tree
Flowered plates and tea cups - Homegoods
Black Polka Dot Flatware - hubs bought for me about 3 years ago
Glasses - Dollar Tree
Napkin Rings - I think were Pier One a couple years ago

The candle holders Marty made me for my birthday.

Today I also decided to plant some flowers.

This is the first hanging basket I have ever had. I know it won't last long in the coming heat, but I just love it.

There is one pot planted...doesn't look like much now, but it will get fuller. I love mixing
Geraniums and Petunias together. See the hook in the pot. Bentley is personally hurt that I took his favorite digging pot. I am hoping to keep him out of it! We will see. They were out of chicken wire at Lowes...I am sure because all of you are making wire cloches...hey, while you are at it, make me one too ok.....(just a hint Marty!!!)

These are the plants lining the path to our "gazebo". This is so full this year....in fact see the little rock. I have 3 of them...I can't find one that must be hidden under some leaves on one of the plants. OR Bentley has hidden in HIS pot!

Today is Tablescape Thursday at Between Naps on the Porch. Hang in there with me. I will get to visiting. I am trying to get caught back up from my day of testing!!
It is so beautiful here right now...I just can barely stay inside.....

Oh CeeKay Sweetie...
Everything looks so beautiful. I love your garden. The petunias and the geraniums are just gorgeous. I am going to try this weekend to get a little more started in my yard.

I had to post my Friday post today, as I will not have time tomorrow. I have so many irons in the pot with the grandkids schedules, that I am meeting myself coming and going.

I love you plate settings. I looked at those too at Fry's, and still didn't buy them. I noticed last week the plates were on clearance. I wanted the red ones though and they only had 1. So sad for me. I so love red. It seems like they had bowls and cups though in the black. Do you have those for your set?

Well sweetie I will talk to you soon. I am so tickled that you loved my Sedona post. I have never been to Payson either. That would be a fun Summer day?

See ya soon sweetie. So much love to you...Sherry

Your tablescape is so pretty with all the pretty coordinating polka dots. It's a shame you did not use it but I am sure you had a great dine out with Karen anyway. I am so jealous that you already started planting. I can't wait to go home so I can do that too...Christine

I'm telling ya - we could've just ordered Chinese . . .
I cannot believe you did all the flowers already.
You were supposed to pace yourself - do you recall that conversation?
It looks fabulous. Of course! Both in and out.
I still think your home is one of the most inviting homes I've ever been in. It says "I live here with my lovely hubbie and this is HOME and we love it!"
Perfect in my book!
Hugs! Me.
