Although I don't have a lot of pieces, the ones I have are special to me. Especially these two small crocks. I purchased them 25 years ago in Gettysburg on a wonderful trip I took.
I have mentioned before that I adore things with the Alphabet on them....isn't this cup precious?
These pieces were flea market finds...the one of the right, really a fake, but I found it at GW when I was shopping with Cindy, Karen, Marty, and Sherry.
I love this little dish. I need to find a stand to put it with the rest of the pieces....I am linking up with Marty for Tabletop Tuesday and Sally for Blue Monday. I have company coming in on Tuesday, so if I don't get to visiting right away, I promise, I will. I hope everyone has a wonderful week and see a bit of spring around the corner. It is absolutely gorgeous here in the Phoenix area. Except for the rain that is heading our way. We never have rain...but we are getting more than our share this year. I DO have outside plans Sunday afternoon...I hope they don't get rained out.
*Added: it did pour rain all day...but my dear friend Misty and I went to the Windsor Historic homes tour. It was fantastic! Talk about talented people! Not allowed to take pictures, but it was definately an enjoyable afternoon....**

I adore this blue pottery. I have several pieces myself as you know I adore anything country. The little alphabet cup is adorable. I can see why you kept these pieces, so special. Love the little piece you found at the GW when we went shopping that day. What a fun day we had. It was worth every minute of rushing.
I too hope your plans for today do not get rained out. It is always so fun to get to do something fun outside.
I received a call from my Moma early this morning to let me know that my SIL had a massive heart attack at the young age of 54 and sadly passed away last night. She has 3 daughters and several grandchildren. So sad.

I too decorated with a lot of blue but with rust and barn red in a country/colonial style. Now it is coming back in style!! I don't have much left of my blue either - except my stoneware and dishes. I loved seeing your treasured pieces!
Love your beautiful blue pieces! Our old home was country and in blue, and like you when we moved to our new home, hubby wanted us to go minimalist...it's so hard for me!!!
Ceekay, your pottery is beautiful. I noticed you even have some Williamsburg pottery. I wish I saved mine, I just sold about four pieces of the Williamsburg. I would have mailed it to you. I usally save everything. But I set up at the Flea Market several months ago to sell some of my crafts, and I put those pottery pieces with it to sale and they all sold. Daggone it!

Oh girl I love all your crock ware...I could not part with it either and too funny about 15 years ago I had all country with dusty blue/rose decorating ha ha!! right now to the country curtain I had through out my whole house I loved that look the best for me...I gave so much of it away that I wished now I haden't ha ha!! That's all I've got left of my country stuff, is a piece or two of the blue pottery. I actually more cream and brown pottery - than blue. But I was totally sick of the cream and got rid of all but a few pieces.
Now I have none of it displayed anywhere.
Enjoy the rain, you'll be complaining later that it's hot and dry.
My crocus are up...right next to a huge pile of snow. What a contrast!

Oooh...what a sweet collection of salt glaze pottery that you have! I must admit, I have seen this pretty pottery around but didn't know that it was called salt glazed! Hmmm...now you have sparked my interest in that manufacturing process! Hehe! I love the tall container with the basket of berries...that one just took my eye! I love the look and design of berries! I also really like the pretty bowl with the alphbet as well! Shoot...they're all pretty! This would be a really fun collection I think! Ceekay, these are beautiful stoneware pieces. I'm so glad you kept these. I really like the fake one with the little cottage painted on it. Love that dish with the alphabet. Love your pottery. I too have a collection in Rossville, the blue spongeware styles and a few others mixed in. I don't have the country look anymore either, but could not part with those blue pieces.
Hope your rain comes to an end. We still had rain all day Monday, but reached middle 70's today.

Oh my goodness...........those are some DELISH pieces. I used to have a couple of pieces of salt glazed stoneware, but none as lovely as these.....

I love your salt glazed pieces. I even recognize a few that I have or have given as gifts. I rarely see it these days and don't have much myself. I gave pieces of this as gifts many times years ago. Thanks for sharing your collection.
