Silver Sunday on Valentine's Day!

This post is going to be a bit crazy...but hey, it is Valentine's day, and I am in LOVE!

First I thought I would show my birdcage....$1.00 at garage sale...it was ugly mint green...so out came the spray paint....see the ivy...keep that thought!

Today is Silver Sunday at Gypsy Fish....I found this sweet silver dish at Big Lots for $2.00...so I could not resist...hubby contributed the chocolate strawberries....I'd offer you one, but, uh, they got ate!

He also brought me a sweet little heart cake.....I put it on our tray from our wedding with my silver cake server. I also love the wrought iron heart napkin ring...I have four...I found 2!

I thought I better show my xoxo on my front door...I kinda forgot about this....I found at Michaels this year. I think it is soooo cute.

So what did I get for Valentine's day????

Nope, not kidding. My husband says "nothing says lovin like a new set of 4!"

But I did get a wonderful card......

I love it! and him!

Ok, and the ivy...well, I have had this light pole for 3 years...I always add new silk flowers for the different holidays and seasons...you have seen it in precious posts....but NO MORE...
My beloved HOA (a little sarcasm here) decided that I was a BADDDDDD homeowner and fined me $50.00 for silk flowers. They were loving (oops) to give me 10 days to correct the illegal action. I am sure you agree with me, it looks so much better now empty....because we wouldn't want to offend anyone with silk flowers!!! (cuz real ones do real well here in AZ, oh oh, there I go again!) So, let's see if I get fined for the ivy in the birdcage.....that is up near my house on the table.... and again, I say, my headstone???? WHATEVER!!

Ok, enough of that....I hope you all are having a love filled day with those you love and making memories!!

Happy Valentine's Day Ceekay! Love the new tires, lol. I've had many Christmas's and birthdays when my dad would buy me tires or brakes or something car related for me when I needed it. To me it was the perfect present!

Beautiful silver for those yummy treats Ceekay. Oh man...I want a set of 4 for Valentine's Day. Well at least by Mother's day anyway. Hubs is a sweetie to give you such a lovely card. You lucky girl.

I can't even imagine how I would deal with a HOA. Not well I'm sure.

Happy Valentine's Day CeeKay...
Not the beautiful flowers around the lamp post. And let's see you have had those how long now? What is it with HOA anyway? What flowers can grow in direct sun? I guess they want no beauty. I loved those flowers, and just now how am I supposed to know I am almost to your house? Hummm?

Oh Sweet Hubby to give you (4) new tires. They will take you lots of trips to the Dollar Store for sure. I know I loved mine when I got them for my birthday last year. I needed them, and it tickled me pink.

Those strawberries looked delish, and how sweet of hubby to bring those home. I can see why there are no leftovers, they looked scrumptous. Thank you for sharing my sweet friend.

Have a beautiful and blessed day tomorrow. I am so tickled your grandkids are coming over. Let me know what Little Miss thinks of her necklace that you made. I know she will love it.

Happy Valentine's CeeKay, you are so loved sweetie. Country hugs and so much love...Sherry

Hi Ceekay,
Love the XOXO sign and the chocolate covered strawberries. Your card is so sweet!

That's so silly about the silk flowers. I hope you get away with the birdcage, that would just be wrong if they were that bad!

What!! $50.00! Why do they always fine you when you are trying to improve the looks of your property?
Did the neighbors get fined for the shrubs they moved?
Love all the silver and the sweets look yummy! I'm sure you loved them.
Glad you have safe tires. Especially since I will be riding on them soon. lol

Hi Ceekay,
Looks like you had a special Valentine's Day. I love your sweet diplay with the heart cake. Too yummy!! Love your silver pieces. The XOXO on the door is way cute. I love it.
Can you believe your HOA?A fine for silk flowers. I would owe a lot of money cause I use faux flowers when needed any place. Some neighborhoods here do the same thing. Thank God mine is not one of them. LOL.
Beautiful card from your hubby and I love the bird cage and ok the tires too. LOL

I can't believe your HOA FINED you! OMG...we all need to put our heads together and figure out a little "passive-aggressive" PAYBACK! What jerks. I can say that because we have a jerky HOA where we live.

On to some cool stuff...like that wonderful bargain birdcage. .. and BLots trays with yummmmmmy strawberries....and that amazing heart cake. I swear, Ceekay, you have the most wonderful man...but you know that!! :) L, Dana
