Playing with Paper!

I thought I would be creative today and make a page to frame for Valentine's Day. The card is a copy of a vintage card my dad gave to my mom many moons ago! I just used what I had....and put this together. I am quite pleased with it and can't wait to get to the Dollar Tree to find a frame for it.

These are the darling dominoe necklaces I learned how to make from our Sherry, Country Wings in Phoenix.

This sweet thing is going to my Granddaughter for Valentine's Day!

I hope you are having a wonderful weekend. Love on those close to you! What a fantstic holiday to take time to share our love!!

CeeKay, it's Connie. Just save your old perfume bottles, sugar. Or ask friends to give them to you when the perfume is gone. Then decorate them. Easy peasy, sugar!

Connie
Hope you are doing well, chick.

Happy Valentine's Day Sweetie...
I so love your Valentine that you made. It is so beautiful. I love the way some of the paper has the torn look and the buttons and clips. You have such an eye for art CeeKay. You truly do.

Your little grand daughter will be so happy when she sees the little necklace that you made for her. I love the little chain that you found for it. It is just beautiful.

We had such a great time that day. We must do it again. You will have to let me know when a good time is for you. I pray you are doing well sweetie. I pray for your health every day, and that God will perform a miracle. We know that they are possible. I so love you.

Happy Valentine's Day sweetie and sending you big hugs and kisses. All my love..>Sherry

I love the Valentine you made. So pretty and vintage. I have alot of those old vintage cards in a book...before my in-laws were married my FIL was in the service....they used to send such cards to each other all the time with sweet messages. Now that they are both gone I treasure the book even more...knowing how much they loved each other. I hope you are feeling well so you can do something special tomorrow.
Hugs,
Lynn

So sorry to hear about your problems with your health. I will pray for you right after I post this. Thanks for your sweet note, I am feeling much better. I get like this about once a month, you would think I would figure it out, but I always get blindsided...

Hi Ceekay!! Thank you so much for your birthday wishes. And happy Birthday to you too sweetie!!! It certainly does seem like we have a lot in common!! I'm thinking it might be fun to get all the bloggers in the area together for lunch one of these days. You know Linda from Robin's Egg Blues lives in Buckeye. Let's talk about it!
