Bloggers...this is so Great!

I just have got to share this for Show and Tell at Cindy's this week.

I am sure some of you have heard about this, but the Cutest Blog on the Block has a new feature where you can have your blog made into a book. I have wanted this since I started blogging. I told my hubs and he definately wanted me to do it.

It wasn't cheap....but it is beautiful and worth every penny to me. I cried when it came in. You know our blogs are a lot of work...and it is amazing how it feels to hold it in book form. I did my book by the year...so I still have to order 2009. The only thing I would do different per my hubby, is to order the hard cover. I thought I would try to save some money, but I think it would be so much nicer in hard back.

I would encourage you to consider doing this. It is something to always have and your words and thoughts to pass to future generations.

One note...any moving pictures or slides...will not transfer over.... and the cost is determined by the size of the book. Mine is 224 pages.

This is just the coolest. It is really like you wrote a book (and sometimes it feels that way!). I knew the CBOTB did this and my husband thinks it is a great idea. Maybe sometime. In the meantime, cherish your book!!

Hi Cheekay,
I haven't visited in awhile and had to catch up. First your little black shoes from your Silver Sunday post, Love 'em! I have a pair very similar that I picked up in Canton. The trunk you scored at the estate sale is so very cool. Don't know what you paid, but I would have paid a lot for something so great. And finally your blog book is wonderful. After I get another year of posts under my belt I'd love to do that. Have a great weekend. Lisa

Hi Ceekay,
I did that too and just love it. I did it by 100 blogs, plan to get another after the next 100 blogs. I got one for my dad and sister who do not have access to the internet so they didn't really get the blogging thing. They said they enjoy it, especially the pictures.

What a wonderful idea and such a lovely book... I can't find any mention of where you had it done? I'd like to have both my sister and my blogs done for our mother.

Ceekay, I'm so glad you posted about doing this book! I had no idea it was possible.
I would love to preserve these memories for my DD & DGD, especially since I talk so much about the dishes & items that belonged to my Mom & Grandmother. All of this would be lost if my blog disappeared!

Thank you so very much for informing us. I really enjoy visiting your spot on the web.
