Spring is in the Aire Tablescape!

Spring is in the air, everywhere I look around....la, la, la....(insert rest of lyrics here if you know them cuz, well, I don't!)

When I thought about my spring table, I just looked for everything I had that was pastels or flowers. Nothing was purchased just for this tablescape except the centerpiece, which came as a surprise to both me and my husband. He ordered me a Christmas centerpiece from QVC and forgot that he did auto delivery. Surprise...spring centerpiece....

The sweet cups my friend Candy gave me as a Christmas gift. There are 6 of them, each a different color. I love the triangular saucer.

Isn't the centerpiece yummy!

Square placemats are from my good ole grocery store a couple of years ago. Each is a different color. Square plates are from 99 cent and Everything store, I don't know when!! The little round plates from Target Dollar Stop about 2 years ago. The napkins were a Big Lot find and the flatware good ole Target! Now, Rose from A Hint of Home wants those napkin rings....I have had them for years and have gotten their money's worth! The little flower candles, again all different colors and types of flowers...the ever famous Dollar Tree.

Cracker Barrel eggs...oops, I was wrong...these are new! I have pink and green ones also.

Cute little duck creamer....ducks like spring too!

Hey, looky, I almost got the whole table this time! I am getting better, hey??

You will see some of these items again, when I do my Easter table. I just change out a few things. But not yet!

Now I am off to visit other Tablescapes at Susan's. Join me!!

**Update on me.....I will be starting Tomotherapy treatments every week day for the next 6 weeks. I chose to try this first before major surgery. I would appreciate any prayers that it will be effective. I don't know how I will feel during this time, but I hope well enough to post some and visit all of you. Thank you for all your concern***

AND...I just had to post this lovely thing. Now, don't laugh...but I just felt like proving that I do cook and bake! and eat off of the plates I show!!!! This apple pie was made from 6 different types of apples and let me tell you...it is yummy, if I have to say so myself! TA DA......ok Kathy, I am ready for my award!!!

I think this is the prettiest springtime table I have ever seen! The colors and the accents go together perfectly. Now that beautiful pie could easily have been the centerpiece... but it looks so good it probably wouldn't last long enough.

I am so impressed with that pie, CeeKay! If my husband had known you baked that he would have been right over at your house begging for a slice!

I am TOTALLY impressed with the lovely spring tablescape of yours!! If I had as many special items as you, I'd be storing them under my beds, cuz I would have LONG run out of cabinet space! :)

I LOVED how you combined the pastel theme and alternated those colors in dishes and placemats. I saw those little egg S/P shakers at our local CB and passed on them--of course, I am kicking myself now!! I hope they have at least one little set left, as I will return and look!! What a special touch that your hubby had ordered that centerpiece (is that one of those battery candles in it? I am crazy about those and have ordered some from QVC before). You certainly put me in the mood for spring with your table decor.

I will continue to remember you in my prayers, CeeKay, as you start this new treatment. L, Dana

I love the napkins, duck creamer is darling! Love those cups! I adore the candle centerpiece! So spring! I have not done a tablescape or tea! I had grandchildren for months now! 10 hrs a day. Worn out! I bought a lot of new dishes and now need a place to store them. I have been looking for the perfect antique buffet table. Well I am going to keep looking in, in the mean time, I going to use a rod iron table with wood drawer top and make a large shelf above! That is if Hubby will weld a piece he stole off my table. lol Best Wishes for you during your treatment. I know its going to be tough! But you are strong and can do it! I go see my doc on the 24th. I have done nothing but keep kids, so I have not done the things he wanted, I dreading going for I will be in trouble. Just keep thinking of creating these lovely tables, while you are in treatment! Sending Prayers and Big Hugs your way everyday!

Hello from another member of the club. (Ovarian Cancer) I too am still in treatments for recurring cancer. I had completed my initial rounds, and scans and test all showed no new tumors or visible signs of cancer, but my ca-125 never went into the single digits, and began to elevate shortly after I went into remission, thus, more treatments. I will be thinking about you tomorrow as you start another round of treatments. Keep in touch and let me know how you're doing. _Ashey*
