Vintage Valentine Swap!

I participated in Heidi's Valentine Swap. And was I the fortunate one, as Heidi was my swap partner. She absolutely treated me like a queen and I was so tickled with each package. Everything was wrapped so beautifully, I didn't want to open them...but I finally did!

She sent me this adorable C stamp and some stamping ink.

2 boxes of chocolates that I am saving for Valentine's day...with these sweet tags on them. Also some sweet heart note cards that I can embellish myself and a Valentine Romantic Homes Magazine.

Now, this item was so precious. I haven't yet taken the gorgeous ribbon off of it, but it is a white pitcher filled with M&M's.

And then, oh my goodness, I couldn't believe it - 2 of these precious plates. Black and white. I was in happy land!

Thank you so much Heidi...not only was this swap fun to do, but you just blessed me with your abundant kindness!

Also, I wanted to share with you about my young friend. She has had her port put in and chemo is starting this week. Her prognosis is very good and they are doing extremely well. Her and I are going wig shopping soon...which see, there really is humor in everything. Who would have ever thought making a date to go wig shopping would be something to look forward to? But, hey - thank the Lord for wig makers!!

My sweet hubby is home Monday and Tuesday and I look so forward to those days. But don't worry, I always still have time to visit my blogging friends.

9 more days and I will be going to Disneyland for my birthday! I have never been there, so I am excited! It should balance out the fact that this year I also get to sign up at my store for my SENIOR discount! I was enjoying calling my hubby my "OLD MAN DISCOUNT" (thanks Kat) but now...well, he just better not start calling me is O.L.D!!! I would prefer P.H.A.T. - but ONLY with that spelling thank you!!

You received an amazing swap package. Now I know exactly what Heidi is talking about...I have participated twice and always am afraid that I'm not doing what she intended.

Enjoy your time with your hubby. Not too much blogging. :)
