Tablescape Thursday - Valentines

I just could not wait for Tablescape Thursday at Susan's. Valentines Day is my second favorite holiday next to Christmas and I just love a pretty table! I hope you enjoy it as much as we do. I hope you don't mind my noting each item. I just have learned that so many times other bloggers want to know where you found it and about how much it cost so they might find it also.
Red chargers, heart dinner plate and the sweetest salad dish that I found at my grocery store (I know, again!) for $1.00 each.

The dinner plates and I do have small dessert dishes to match were from Target 2 years ago at the dollar stop - back when it really was a dollar.

Napkins last year Target. Black napkin rings I have had for years.

I used my Grandma's silver. I unfortunately do not have a complete set...but it is so precious.

Aren't these cute. Hubby saw them at the grocery store today while we were doing our "Senior Day Discount" shopping. Perfect for speading lemon curd on the scones.

These beaded coasters I have patiently waited for a while now. They finally went on sale and then our discount made them affordable!

I JUST LOVE these Miss Debbie cakes. I look for them every Valentines Day. They are going in the freezer as soon as I am finished....

I tried to get the pattern of my mom's Crystal glasses. I put out the compote glasses. They are from 1948 and are very delicate. But guess what??? I am using them...no more saving!!!

I love these heart candles that I believe I got at the Dollar Tree a couple of years ago...nope, I am not burning them...see the precious bead at the bottom of the wick?

The LOVE and XOXO are tags from Walgreens for packages.

Squealing...do you hear it???? yep that is me! I just had to have these birdie salt and pepper shaker from Cracker Barrel. Out came the gift card from Christmas!

I sorta have a bird and heart theme going on here. Birdbath was a clearance find last spring. I put mini heart candles in it.

Now you should hear laughing....I tried, really I did to do an aerial shot like you are so good at. I should have got the step stool...but I didn't. I will try to get better,

**Ladies, I wanted to tell you that I just spoke with my doctor. Unfortunately, I did not get great results from my PET scan. The cancer has reared its ugly head again and it appears I will be going back on chemo. To say that we are disappointed is putting it mildly, but we have seen disappointment before in many ways and the Lord has been through all with us. The doctor told me that I should not make this worse than it is...this is treatable...and I should be able to get back into remission. I really know that some of you regularly pray for me and I am so thankful...this is the only reason I share this news. Please lets continue on with joy and thanksgiving for each day and blessing and not dwell on this. If anything changes, I will share it with you, I promise. Thank you my blogging friends.***

Oh, Ceekay, early or not, your table is so beautiful! I love all of your Valentine dishes!! I need some! I was in Cracker Barrel yesterday and saw those little salt and peppers and almost bought them. Now you're making me wish I had! Love it all and so glad you're using those delicate glasses.

What fun that table is! Makes a perfect place to enjoy a meal (or yummy Valetine's cakes!) on Valentine's Day!! So pretty Ceeky!!

That is needlepunch that you asked me about. It is like hooking a rug only with floss instead. You need a special tool and a gripper frame to hold the fabric tight, but then you can use most any pattern that can be filled in and you use muslin or other tightweave cloth for the pattern. VERY easy once you have that tool! http://www.colonialcrafts.com/category/Needlepunch/c34 this is where I get my supplies and from
http://www.farmhousewoolens.com/index.php

google needele punch and you'll get tons of links!!

Oh, there is so much love on your table, the dishes, the stem ware, the napkins, the napkin holders, the centerpiece. I love it all! I did not know you were on the cancer battle! I wish you The Very Best! Stay positive and be happy, then you can attack it with all this love you have shown not only today, but everyday! I got my results, I am known at every hospital or testing place in Jackson. So the doc came and talked to me, before sending the report to my main doc. Mine is not good either, which I already knew. But hoping to get a window, for some therapy, before surgery. If you need to talk, I am here! I know how draining it can be on one. I do love your dishes! The table is so lovely! Now I just love Little Debbie cakes!

I had to come back and take a second look, just drink it all in! It is just great!

I like to give details about things too, and give the cost if it was a good bargain! This shows that it's possible to decorate inexpensively!

As for the aerial view, don't do what I did once - I stood on top of the table and took the picture, only to see after it was posted on my blog, that my big toe was in the picture! Hee-hee!
