Tablescape Thursday - Black and Gold

Today is happy day because it is Tablescape Thursday at Susan's. Plates, napkins, tablecloth, napkin rings and candlesticks all purchased after Christmas at Target. Salts were a gift. Mirror centerpiece was from Big Lots years ago. Candles are battery. Glasses, I can't remember, sorry. The white plates have a leaf and bird design...hence the birds and leaf accessories.

I hope you all like it...it is more beautiful in person I think...so all of you come on over and see it!

Where's my invite? All you need are little tea cakes covered with chocolate ganache, sprinkled with edible gold luster dust...

Hi Ceekay... I got the message on my blog of you asking about the little cloches. I found them in Gilmer at a little gift shop called "Lou's". They had dishware and registry ware for home styling. I'm sure they can be found online as well. I just never looked into it. Hope you find some! ~Katy

I'm so glad you spent your birthday with Mickey. I'm just listening to Frank Sinatra signing "you'll never walk alone if you walk with hope in your heart".

CeeKay,
Thanks for coming by to see my Teddy Bear Tea Tablescape.

I did try several times to delete the extra pic, and did it the same way i have done it many times. But, no mater how hard i tired it would not go away. No big deal. But thanks for trying to help.

I love your Table. Gold and black are so rich, and you had some very clever and different ideas. I love the way you tucked the napkin and ring into the dish on the plates.
I couldn't tell what it was till you took it out.
I also like the way you showed really close ups of some of the things. I'll have to try that some time. I am learning so much from all of you.

Blessings, and stay well.

Barbara Jean
PS Did you see i am having a 100th post drawing on my other blog? Ends Feb 28 at midnight.

What an unusual tablescape; I love it. Great colors, and the dinnerware is really lovely. However, my favorite picture is the one with the little white bird, with its surprised expression, that seems to be looking right at the camera.

Beautiful and with humor!
Thanks
Cass
