More Cali pictures

It has been fairly quiet at my home since we returned from California. My aunt is being moved to a rehab facility today. She is doing good considering, but it is going to take a while before she is back home.
I thought I would just post a few more pics from our trip... The snow on the mountains. It was gorgeous. Pictures don't even begin to do it justice, believe me I tried. But I thought this was a good one.

Anyone who has been through the trip from AZ to CALI knows about the energy windmills. We just look for them...There are hundreds of them!

Do you guys try to do the self portraits. You know my kids can get great pics of themselves and even group shots. I should make an album of my mistries. Hey, like a mistreatment Nester!...anyways...I thought this one was pretty good of me in the car....with my Brighton sunglasses.

More windmill thingys...

Remember me telling you it was cold. I had a t-shirt, a hoodie shirt and a denim jacket. The wind was a whipping and I threw up the hoodie...AND MESSED my hair..but I didn't care. My hubs thought that was hilarious. He said they should sell blankets by the show site. They would make a fortune. But the show - Fantasmic was fantastic! It was way worth waiting for.
Have a wonderful week friends. It's a Blog world afterall, it's a blog world....oh, sorry........

Ceekay, you are styling your Brightons! Looks like a fun trip. I'd like to see all those windmills in person. I guess we have them in Oklahoma too but I haven't seen them.

We had company for several days last week and I got behind with my visiting and commenting. They went through this same area that you pictured going home Saturday afternoon.
Those windmills always amaze me. I'm always glad to see them because I know I'm getting closer to our destination. Do you stop by the outlets? The hoodie picture with the wind blowing reminded me of it. We always stop there and seems like it is always windy. Sometimes cold and windy - sometimes hot and windy but almost always windy. We still love to stop there.
This post makes me want to go back there.

It has been chilly in California lately. I have to agree. I am looking forward to warmer days, but we do need this rain and snow.

Hi again. I intended to comment on your Brighton sunglasses. I would definitely get some of those but I have to have prescription sunglasses.

I loved Disneyland but can so relate to the cold that swept in on that Oct. evening while we were there. I was freezing!! That didn't stop us from staying till 1:oo in the morning. Yikes! we were so tired.

Love your pictures, Ceekay! You look marverlous, Darling in your self portrait and those styling sunglasses! When I take a picture of myself - my nose seems to get about 10 times bigger! ;)
You look so hurt all cuddled up!
Thanks for popping in to see me.

Great pics. I've never seen the energy windmills. We need to travel West I believe!

I understand about missing your Pepper. I threaten OnlySon to be sure and never make me choose. ;-)

Loving the pictures from your trip. I've never been to Disneyland; we never took our kids, and our grandkids have not been. How sad!! I'll live vicariously through you on this trip. Thanks. Sally

Love the pictures!!! It would have to be terribly cold for me to put anything on my head and ruin my hair! I think my husband would take a picture of it also! Hope your aunt is doing better!

I miss California. Spent 7 of my growing up years in southern California, mostly north Long Beach area. Fun pictures!

You are so right...it's hard to capture the beauty of those snowy mts. in a picture! I have lived here my whole life and still, I nearly drove off the road the when I caught sight of them in my rear view mirror the other day!
I feel stupid saying anything about your health since I haven't had to walk on those shoes, but both my parents had the ugly C in 2001...I's say. "Trust God", but I can see you already do!
You are in our prayers!
