California purchases

So what did I buy in California??

Goodies!!

I fell in love ith this necklace and earrings at Brighton. I got the sweet mini creamer at Tai Pan.

I hit the jackpot with some different salt cellers than I already have...and the prices were fantastic!

Karen, Marty and I both fell in love with these sweet mini books.

I found one silver salt spoon that I could afford. Boy, those things for being only 2 inches are expensive!!

I just had to get the milk tops...since I love old milk and creamer bottles.

This sweet little jug was also from Tai Pan. I love the salt glazed look.

And when I saw this beehive napkin, now you know I grabbed that!!

This was one of my bigger splurges. I just had to get this pendant...it is black with the white C on one side and.....

white with the black C and crown!!! on the other!

I had to have this doll size milk bottle for my collection. It is about 2 inches high....I just love it!

I did buy a few other things, but they may be gifts for some friends who look on here...so I can't show them. But I tell you, next time I go, I am taking more money! The prices are great compared to here I think.....

I love California Part 2

Back to my wonderful trip to Cali. When we went to the mountains we had a wonderful dinner. Here Karen is intent on Marty's recipe for something Mexican.....they are both big into cooking.

We were at Mount Baldy. It was such a wonderful evening.....so cool compared to the heat in AZ.

I had to give Smokey a hug!!

Karen took us to her old neighborhood where they have wild peacocks roaming the subdivision. It was so funny but beautiful....

The next day we went to the Ocean....Dana point. Plenty of seagulls....

Marty said I had to share the story of the shark....when our son saw his first Jaws movie...he was about 10...after that every body of water, river, lake...didn't matter...he would ask....Dad, is that salty water? We then bought him a toy shark (which I still have by the way, and it will show up at his wedding!) and he loved that shark. I found another one at the Dollar tree and took it to the ocean with me....

Yes son, this is salty water....oh LOOK.....a shark!

I asked the question....Lord, why am I in Arizona? I want, I need to be near the water. Oh well, now I know I can get there fairly quickly....trust me, I will be back , Arnold...and Karen!

Ceekay, did you lose part of your mind in Cali???? a toilet seat?
I have never seen this, but they automatically put on a toilet seat protector!!

Now, that is way cool!

Our first stop, Brighton outlet! I had to control myself though...I still have a lot of shopping ahead of me!

Then we went for a ride up in the Mountains...
