Can anyone identify this pattern?

Rebecca just posted about some gorgeous goblets her hubby found her.  I have my mom's from around 1940.  But I don't know the pattern.  I know many of you are experts at this....so here are some pics....

The glass is definately etched.

I can't wait to see what you all say.....

My creations from my class

I know I showed pictures of the wonderful soldering class I was able to take with Karen from Some Days are Diamonds.  But I wanted to show my projects.  The first is the bracelet we made.  Now, when I say made, I mean we cut the wire, formed the links, made the heart, stamped the word and put together and soldered.  I am thrilled beyond words how cute my bracelet turned out.

My neighbor at the table helped me with making a charm from the teal stone.  Teal is the color for Ovarian cancer.  We could choose our word....I chose courage, but I could have also used prayer....

This is the beveled glass memory house we made....Mine is about our home....since it is shaped like a house.  The picture is my husband and I kissing where our bedroom now is.  This home was such a joy for me to put my heart into.  We actually have notes and praises written on the boards.  You can't see them now, but we know they are there.

I am quite pleased with my creations.  This was pushing the envelope for me....but I would love to try something like this again sometime!!

And in case anyone is counting...this is 3 projects for the month of January!!

Happy Birthday to Us Party

I have the coolest friend.  She loves to have parties.  Last year she hosted my Princess Birthday party.  This year she hosted a Birthday Party to Us.  Ten girlfriends from church got together to celebrate our birthdays together.

We started with prayer, thanking our Lord for this time together.
The tablescape was so cute....and she just shopped her home!

Our birthday cake!  Don't you just love birthday cake?
These sweet little containers were a gift to her from a student.  They fit perfectly with the theme.
Going around the table and telling our birthdays...with the YEAR!

The cake plate has dingle dangles all around it.  I controlled myself and left it with her....It was difficult!

Opening gifts.  Like a white elephant round.  Personally, I hate these.  I want to keep what I get.  And I was first, having the first birthday of the year in February!

Well, Lookie, lookie!  Yep, I stole that baby and then it was frozen and it was all MINE!!

Thanks Sally.....it was the best party!  and
Girlfriends are the BEST!

Love is in the Air!

Everywhere you look around.
I have told you before, I LOVE Valentine's Day. I still can remember vividly passing out those precious little cards at school and maybe some candy. It was and still is a favorite day of mine.
I started my decorating with a tablescape for Susan's Tablescape Thursday. I hope you enjoy it. Really, if you have followed my blog for a while, you have seen almost everything before.

CB birdie S&P from last year.

Glasses from Kroger/Fry's last year, by Libby.
Heart beaded coasters from Kroger/Fry's last year.
Placemats - Dollar Tree
Napkins - Everything for 99 cents
Napkin Rings - small store in Payson last year...they are hand forged.
Red chargers and black plates, I don't remember anymore, had for years.
Heart salad/dessert plate - I think it was Target last year.
Red silverware!!! - NEW - my hubs felt sorry for me cuz I whined....I admit it.  So he took me to Walmart and we found these.  I told him, I can use for Valentine's day, 4th of July and Christmas.  He rolled his eyes and mumbled something.  Aren't they perfect?

I know, they are cute and I am sorry, but I don't remember.  I want to say Target a couple of years ago.

Birdie from CB 2 years ago.  Love and XOXO are hang tags from Walgreens last year.
I love these little candles.  From the Dollar Tree before it was the Dollar tree.  I love the bead on the wick.  Nope, never burning these babies!
Hurricane lamps from Kirkland many moons ago!
Every time I put this plate out I think of my friend Rose.
Match box...from Melrose Vintage this year with Karen.
Keys from a little defaunt store that had the cutest stuff.

Little wine candles - Kroger/Fry's again a LONG time ago.

I must say, this is one of my favorite tablescapes.  But I say that every year.....

I am off to visit all the pretty tablescapes at Susan's, Between Naps on the Porch.  See you there!  Also linking to http://suelovescherries.blogspot.com/

Saying Goodbye to my Snow

I am getting the "itch" to decorate for Valentine's Day.  So I am packing up the Snowmen and the White.  I wanted to share for Tabletop Tuesday at Marty's my buffet and coffee table in the Living Room all dressed in whites.  This really is a favorite display of mine and I am a little sad that it has to be put away...but time doesn't stand still does it?

Does this look a little different.  Yesterday I did get a "birthday present".  More about that later but do you see it?
This beautiful new white pitcher.  I KNEW exactly where it was going!
I do love my Valentine's items though.  February is one of my favorite months.  It is the LOVE month and my birthday month.  I was an only child, so I feel it is only appropriate that I celebrate my birthday ALL month, not just on one little ole day!  I should copy Jodie....a birthday present to open every day of the month!!!  No, that won't be happening here....but the hearts and reds are begging to come out and play!  You will see them soon!!
